Description
The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University invites applicants for a SUNY Empire Innovation Program tenured/tenure-track open rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). Applicants at junior state must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. Outstanding scientists in all fields of neuroscience will be considered, but those studying movement, movement disorders and neurodegeneration relying on animal models and optical approaches are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strong encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience in neuroscience or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in movement disorders.
