The College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona Health Sciences in Tucson invites applicants for a tenured faculty position in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Applicants with established research program on the aging and neurodegenerative diseases are encouraged to submit CV and Research Plan with their application to be considered. An endowed chair with a highly competitive startup package is available for this recruitment. The incumbent will join a department with current research strength in multiple areas of pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutics, including drug discovery efforts for Alzheimer's and other age-related neurodegenerative diseases. Excellent opportunities exist for collaborations with researchers at other parts of the University of Arizona campus, Center for Innovation in Brain Science, the Neuroscience Graduate Interdisciplinary Program, the Bio5 Institute, and the Arizona Center for Drug Discovery and Development.
