The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida will be recruiting two full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty at the rank of assistant professor.
RESEARCH AREAS: We are seeking candidates to lead research programs at the interface of (1) artificial intelligence and multi-omics data science and (2) artificial intelligence and neuroscience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or related engineering or quantitative field. Applicants must have an outstanding record of research accomplishments, a strong interest in undergraduate and graduate education in biomedical engineering, and a commitment to professional service. The successful applicant will be expected to teach biomedical engineering undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain a strong sponsored research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty in and outside the department, and be involved in service to the university and the profession.
