Assistant Professor of Behavioral Neuroscience

The Loyola University Chicago Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Behavioral Neuroscience to begin Fall 2022.

The successful candidate will build a funded research program involving undergraduate students on topics such as sensory or motor systems, the neurobiology of memory, psychiatric disorders or decision-making using animal models, but applicants with expertise in all areas of Behavioral Neuroscience will be considered. Applicants should be prepared to teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory neuroscience courses.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field and a record of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and student mentorship.

This search is part of a multi-year initiative to hire outstanding professors who reflect our diverse student body and can further efforts to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
