Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants specializing in neuroscience for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Psychology, beginning August 2022. Applicants should have a Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, a record of research productivity, potential for extramural funding, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate student teaching and mentoring. Outstanding applicants who conduct human cognitive, developmental, or social neuroscience research will be considered. We seek candidates committed to diversity and inclusion in teaching, research, and mentoring who believe in racial and social justice, equity, and serving others. The successful applicant for this position will be a faculty member of the Experimental Psychology doctoral program. They will also be expected to teach upper-level courses in the undergraduate Psychology and Neuroscience programs and to mentor Neuroscience majors. Excellent facilities and a competitive start-up package are provided. Opportunities are available to collaborate with researchers affiliated with the Henry and Amelia Nasrallah Center for Neuroscience, in the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and at other local universities. The Department of Psychology has 25 full time faculty, a large undergraduate studies program, and doctoral programs in clinical psychology, industrial-organizational psychology, and experimental psychology (with concentrations in cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, and social psychology).
