Open Rank Tenure-track or Tenured Faculty Position in InflammAging and Brain Aging, Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University. The Department of Neuroscience & Regenerative Medicine is seeking applications for a new open rank (tenure-track/tenured) faculty position in inflammaging and brain aging. We are especially interested in candidates whose research is focused on molecular and cellular basis of neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must hold a PhD, and/or MD, or equivalent degrees. The successful candidate should have a strong record of research productivity and extramural funding.
The Department of Neuroscience & Regenerative Medicine offers excellent resources to support new faculty. The department houses the University Transgenic and Genome Editing Core, a viral vector core and a state-of-the-art microscopy facility including multiphoton confocal microscopes, N-STORM super-resolution microscope, light-sheet microscope, imaging flow cytometry and slide scanner.
