The laboratory of Liang Liang in the Department of Neuroscience at Yale University has multiple postdoctoral positions available. The Liang lab focuses on understanding how the thalamic circuitry shapes the flow of visual information and supports visual perception. We use interdisciplinary methods, including two-photon imaging in awake head-restrained mice, circuit-specific tracing/manipulation, visually guided behavior, and computational analysis. More information about the lab can be checked out at our website (https://www.liang-lab.com/). We are looking for highly talented individuals to join us to work on one of the three directions: 1) establishment of thalamic visual function during development; 2) local signal processing and neuromodulation; 3) thalamocortical connectivity and functional interaction.
