Post-doctoral fellow or Research Associate

We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow or research associate in the laboratory of Dr. Adam Sachs at The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute to conduct research in intracortical human brain computer interfaces as part of the NeuroCognitive Communicator Trial and human basal ganglia neurophysiology during deep brain stimulation surgery.  Please visit our lab website (sachslab.ca) for more details of the work we do.

The candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits as per OHRI policy. 

Candidates should have a PhD with experience in in vivo extracellular neurophysiological recordings in behaving animals or humans. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated and to have a record of publications in the area of electrophysiology and neuroscience. 

Signal processing, data processing and analyses, and computer programming skills are expected. The candidate needs to have a strong ability in verbal and written scientific communication.
