FACULTY POSITION – MEDICAL AND MOLECULAR GENETICS
INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE


Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of
Medicine is recruiting a Scientist to serve as faculty. The Scientist track non tenure position
will be appointed as Assistant, Associate, Senior Scientist or Assistant, Associate, Senior
Research Professor. This individual will be expected to lead a new Alzheimer’s disease and
related dementia biomarker core laboratory as well as to establish or support new
biomarker projects. Extensive and varied laboratory experience is essential. Laboratory
direction experience desired. Previous experience in biochemistry, analytical chemistry,
assay development and validation are required. Experience in assay development and
continued operations of biochemical assays in ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, GMP, CAP or CLIA
certified laboratory is preferred. The applicant will collaborate with diverse research teams
and must be able to work effectively in a team setting. The applicant must be able to
establish projects and priorities independently. The position requires a PhD degree in
biology, genetics, or a related area.
