Faculty Positions in Neuroscience and Computational Neuroscience
The Nova Southeastern University Department of Psychology and Neuroscience seeks applicants for two faculty positions.
Open-rank faculty position in Neuroscience (Position #991962): The faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate courses in neuroscience, including labs, and to pursue a research program in their area of specialization in collaboration with faculty colleagues, graduate students, and undergraduates. We welcome candidates with demonstrated potential to secure extramural funding.
Assistant Professor of Computational Neuroscience (Position #991969): The position will also be affiliated with the Clinical Systems Biology Group (http://www.nova.edu/nim/clinical-systems-biology/index.html) of the Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in computational biology or neuroscience, laboratory work, expertise in biostatistical analysis, and coding/programming. The successful candidate is expected to collaborate with scientists, engineers, and clinicians in a multidisciplinary research environment spanning multiple departments of the university, and to attract external grant funding within three years of hire.
