The Prenatal Pediatrics Institute and the Developing Brain Institute at Children’s National Hospital are soliciting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supported by a T32 Training grant through NICHD, entitled Clinical Research Training for the Prenatal-Neonatal Brain.  The goal of this T32 training program is to provide multidisciplinary research training in prenatal-neonatal clinical neuroscience.

The fellowship will train future leaders by instilling in them

 • an in-depth understanding of the developing    prenatal-neonatal brain in healthy and high-risk    pregnancies;

• expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques for the    brain and placenta; and

• the necessary skills to ask critical questions with the    scientific rigor that will be necessary for the    development of future independent research careers.

The fellowship is available to postdoctoral scientists with MD, DO, PhD or MD/PhD degrees, with an established clinical-research focus on the developing brain.  This 2-year fellowship currently has openings available starting in both July 2021 and 2022. Duration of Award : 2-year fellowship (with option of a 3rd year)

Eligibility

citizens or non-citizen nationals of the United States; lawfully admitted for permanent residence by training appointment date.
