Post-Doctoral Fellow

The Ploski lab (https://labs.utdallas.edu/ploskilab/), is looking to hire a post-doctoral fellow to research the molecular, cellular, and systems-level mechanisms that govern the modification of Pavlovian fear/threat memory. We approach these studies in mice and rats utilizing a wide variety of approaches including chemogenetics, cell-specific CRISPR mediated knock-down, inducible transgenic mice, and molecular profiling. Experience in these methods and approaches is a plus, but not necessarily required. The ideal candidate will be proficient in mouse and/or rat stereotaxic surgery and will possess behavioral neuroscience experience. Ph.D. Required.
