The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking an individual for faculty appointment at the rank appropriate for achievement and experience to provide clinical expertise in patient care management of spinal and cranial disorders and an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents and students in the specialty of spine surgery. The Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery or a designated faculty member will supervise the clinical faculty.

The clinical faculty will adhere to all clinical practices currently in place for the care of patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center. This includes completion, in a timely fashion, of all medical record documentation for patients with whom the clinical faculty is responsible. They will be expected to comply with all regulation regarding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree (M.D., or equivalent) from an accredited school and be professionally competent.
