Job Details

A position is available immediately to investigate microRNA-mediated mechanisms during neuronal reprogramming in the rodent model of spinal cord injury (SCI). Candidates should have PhD or equivalent degree in life sciences and be self-motivated for high-quality research. Background in neuroscience, physiology, neuroanatomy, mouse behavioral analysis and sufficient experience in SCI-related research and confocal imaging is ideal. This position will also have opportunity to participate in a variety of techniques including cell culture, RNA-seq, qPCR and bioinformatics analysis. Minimum qualifications:  PhD in biomedical science or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.  Good oral/written communication and organizational skills.  Basic competency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and EndNote or willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently as well as interact with lab mates, complete work and meet deadlines.  Detail-oriented, highly motivated and committed to achieving excellence in the form of productivity and publications.
