Job Details
The Eaton-Peabody Laboratories (EPL) at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE) and the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Harvard Medical School seek applications from researchers with a focus on hearing and deafness. MEE and EPL provide an interdisciplinary and collaborative intellectual environment within an active clinical setting, including 31 basic-science and clinical investigators studying hearing and balance. MEE researchers hold faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and have the opportunity to participate in teaching programs for graduate students, medical students and residents, at both Harvard and MIT, including the Program in Speech and Hearing & Bioscience and Technology.
We are seeking researchers involved in any combination of cellular, molecular, or genetic approaches to studying inner-ear function, dysfunction, or therapeutics. Candidates must have a PhD or MD, with an outstanding record of postdoctoral research accomplishments, and a strong interest in collaboration with an eye towards clinical implications of their research. This is the renewal of a previous posting that had been put on hold due to COVID-19. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Interested candidates should send a CV and Statement of Research Interests to: Sunil Puria, Ph.D.; Associate Director of Eaton-Peabody Laboratories; Massachusetts Eye and Ear; 243 Charles St., Boston MA 02114; Email: sunil_puria@meei.harvard.edu
