DATA MANAGER POSITION – LABAR LAB, CENTER FOR COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE, DUKE UNIVERSITY
The LaBar lab at Duke University seeks a talented data analyst to facilitate data management and statistical analysis of human subjects research on the cognitive neuroscience of emotion. The position is supported by NIH-funded grants on emotion regulation and neurocomputational approaches to emotion representation in the brain. State-of-the-art facilities include multimodal psychophysiology and research-dedicated 3T MRI scanners at Duke’s Brain Imaging and Analysis Center. This position will involve database management, coordination of data across on- and off-site registries, and statistical analysis of behavioral, fMRI and psychophysiological data. The position is initially for a one-year term but is renewable for 3 more years, contingent upon satisfactory performance. B.S. in statistics, data science or related computational fields, and expertise in analysis of human psychological or neuroscience data are prerequisites; experience with machine learning tools is desirable.
