POSTDOCTORAL POSITION – LABAR LAB, CENTER FOR COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE, DUKE UNIVERSITY

The LaBar lab at Duke University seeks a talented postdoctoral associate to conduct human research on the cognitive neuroscience of emotion. The position is supported by an NIH-funded grant that applies machine learning algorithms to decode emotions from fMRI and psychophysiological signals. State-of-the-art facilities include multimodal psychophysiology and research-dedicated 3T MRI scanners at Duke’s Brain Imaging and Analysis Center. The position is initially for a one-year term but is renewable for 3 more years, contingent upon satisfactory performance. Programming skills, expertise in fMRI, and PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience or related fields are prerequisites; experience with psychophysiology and/or machine learning tools are desirable.
