Neuroscience Laboratory Specialist
The Systems Neurobiology laboratory of Christopher A. Del Negro, Ph.D. seeks a full-time Neuroscience Laboratory Specialist. The Specialist will work closely with the lab chief and senior Research Scientist to manage lab resources including: transgenic mice, instrumentation, materials, and intellectual resources. He/she will manage the colony of mice as well as calibrate, maintain, and optimize microscopy facilities. He/she will work with a dynamic research-focused team consisting of graduate (Ph.D.) students and postdocs, and undergraduates, in a highly cross-disciplinary environment, and play a major role in the intellectual productivity of the lab.

• Bachelor’s degree in a comparable field, or combination of education and experience.
• Prior lab experience
• Knowledge of molecular biology protocols
• Experience with histology and microscopy
• Experience with lab inventory management
