NIH-funded postdoc position is available in the lab of Mike Sidorov, PhD. We are a rapidly growing lab in the Center for Neuroscience Research at Children’s National in Washington, DC. We study how neural circuits and shaped by experience and how these circuits are disrupted in neurodevelopmental disorders. We seek to advance basic knowledge and to improve the lives of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders through a collaborative program of basic and translational research. Our lab uses in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology, calcium imaging, mouse behavioral testing, chemo/optogenetics. Experience with one or more of these techniques is desired but not required. The Center for Neuroscience Research is a highly collaborative environment and offers outstanding core facilities in microscopy/imaging, genomics/bioinformatics and animal behavior.
