We have 2 post-doctoral fellow positions available immediately to pursue exciting new projects investigating cellular circuits in the motor and somatosensory systems of mice, using optogenetic and electrophysiological methods in slices and/or in vivo, along with new behavioral paradigms for forelimb motor control and manual dexterity. Applicants with experience in quantitative methods in electrophysiology, imaging, optogenetics, molecular biology, motor behavior, custom instrumentation, and/or computational methods, and who are highly motivated for developing careers as independent investigators, are especially encouraged.
