Faculty Research Position (Rank DOQ)

The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience is seeking motivated candidates for a faculty position. The position will focus on studying voltage-gated potassium channel modulation of microglia NLRP3 inflammasome activation and inflammatory responses induced by HIV, methamphetamine and antiretroviral drugs alone or in combination in an NIH-funded project. Proposed studies will be conducted on cultured microglial cells and brain slices taken from humanized mice via multidisciplinary approaches.
