Translational Clinician Scientist -- Addiction Medicine
The Department of Psychiatry and the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are seeking an Open Rank/Tenure Track clinician scientist with experience in addiction research. The major expectation for this position will be to develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence.
Applicants with a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree, and postdoctoral training will be given preference.
The successful candidate will have research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders. Qualified candidates will have a record of relevant publications and scholarly activity. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate strong clinical skills and experience working with an inter-disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciplines.
