PostDoctoral Fellow to research neural circuitry of compulsive addiction and anxiety
Highly motivated individuals are invited to apply for a postdoctoral position in the neuroscience/behavior of alcohol addiction that is immediately available at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry with Dr. Woody Hopf. Candidates with expertise or interest in fundamental neural, psychological and behavioral mechanisms that drive addiction and anxiety, cutting-edge methods to uncover such mechanisms, and enhancing translational relevance and human treatments, are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. in neuroscience or a related discipline and are expected to conduct a strong research project in rodents in cortical-subcortical interactions and behavioral states related to addiction, compulsivity, and anxiety.
