Broadly, the Desrochers Lab seeks to understand how habits and motor sequences are organized into sequences of tasks through research that combines animal and human experimental models. We are located in the Department of Neuroscience at Brown University. The environment uniquely combines cutting edge research with a collegial atmosphere perched on a beautiful campus in Providence, RI. Life around Providence is rich with opportunities to both enjoy city life (great food, theater, music, etc.) and the outdoors (parks, beaches, etc.). Providence is also very close to an easy airport (~20 min), Boston (~30 min) and New York (~3 hrs).
