What It's Like to Do Interdisciplinary Neuroscience

Catherine Hartley is an assistant professor of psychology and neural science at New York University (NYU), and a researcher within NYU’s Institute for the Study of Decision-Making. Her research focuses on the neuroscience of learning and decision-making and how these processes change over the course of development. She works at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience and developmental psychology, drawing heavily upon perspectives and approaches from disciplines such as behavioral economics and computer science.
