The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from outstanding scholars for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Department is currently engaged in the following research programs: (a) Neuroscience and (b) Cancer Biology.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree with post-doctoral research experience preferably in neuroscience or glia biology research. Excellence in teaching and programmatic research is expected for senior appointments. Evidence of excellence in research will be demonstrated by, high-quality research papers in leading journals in the field and through strong letters of reference of high international standing.
The successful appointee must be able to compete for independent research funding and is required to participate in undergraduate level teaching of medical or science students. Appointees are expected to collaborate with Clinician Scientists for translational research and supervise Graduate Students.
