Postdoctoral Fellowship in Imaging Genetics at Stanford
The Functional Imaging in Neuropsychiatric Disorders (FIND) Lab at Stanford University has a two-year postdoctoral position available in imaging genetics. The fellow will work closely with the FIND Lab PI, Dr. Michael Greicius, to develop and apply novel imaging genetics approaches to the study of Alzheimer’s disease. The ideal candidate will have expertise in genetics (imaging background is less critical but helpful as well) and a record of innovative research. Substantial experience with GWAS, gene expression, and/or whole-genome sequencing datasets is required. We are particularly interested in candidates who think creatively, work hard, and write well. The fellow will undertake a multimodal approach to the analysis of previously acquired GWAS, whole-exome, and gene expression datasets from a number of sources including ADNI, the HCP, the Allen Institute for Brain Sciences, and dbGaP, among others. The fellow will also help design and carry out new genetic studies in targeted kindreds at risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
Applicants should email a CV and cover letter directly to Dr. Greicius: email@example.com
