A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Helen Lai in the Neuroscience Department of UT Southwestern Medical Center to study the neural circuit basis of proprioceptive-motor behavior. The Lai Lab (http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/lai/) has several projects related to understanding the networks that underlie sensorimotor behavior at the level of the spinal cord.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive postdoctoral candidate with a background and interest in developmental, molecular, and cellular neuroscience. Experience with molecular biology, histology, mouse genetics, and/or behavior is preferred. UT Southwestern is a premier research facility with state of the art core facilities and extensive career development opportunities for Postdoctoral Fellows. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant field and should have published as least one paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
