- Experience designing and implementing experiments with high technical sophistication in a military operational research setting.
- Previous experience with programming for virtual reality environments strongly preferred (Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment and D-Flow software desired).
- Identify and perform appropriate statistical analyses such as multiple regression, analysis of variance/covariance, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and latent variable modeling (e.g., structural equation modeling).
- Knowledge in one of all of the following areas preferred:
o Signal processing and computational neuroscience (e.g. EEG).
o Biomechanical research methodology, work with optical motion capture or inertial measurement units preferred.
o Sleep and circadian physiology and the effects of fatigue on human performance
Minimum Education and Work Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, biomedical engineering, or computer programming from an accredited college or university and at least four years of related experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to interact positively and in a professional manner within a research-oriented environment and changing and demanding needs required.
