Fully funded, full-time post-doctoral fellow position is available immediately.
We are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to study the effects of pharmacological agents on neurophysiological measures of plasticity and behavioral outcomes after training to promote motor recovery in patients following stroke. The postdoctoral fellow will be a member of a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neuroscientists, occupational and physical therapists in the Human Motor Recovery Laboratory at Burke Medical Research Institute. Primary responsibilities will include screening and recruitment of patients for studies, collection and analysis of data utilizing various methods including clinical measures, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and upper limb kinematics.
A doctoral degree in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or related field
Experience with transcranial magnetic stimulation
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Experience with clinical and team-based research
Fluent in English
Preferred qualifications but not essential:
Experience with MATLAB, C++ or other programming languages
