Research Applications Specialist- Neuro Diagnostics (East Coast)

Neuro Diagnostics is part of the Emerging Business group, which acts as a new business incubator inside of the larger Philips HealthTech umbrella. Philips Emerging Business is looking for a Research Applications Specialist to represent our portfolio of Research related EEG/ERP, Electrical Source Imaging and Neuromodulation modalities in academic and non-clinical lab-based settings. This is a division within a new Neuro Diagnostics business group at Philips. The group is focused on non-invasive technologies designed to investigate a vast array of neuroscience modalities.
The represented products include both hardware and software to deliver unique multi-modal capabilities. Clinical or research experience and expertise in the following areas is highly valued: Neurology, Neurosurgery, Brain Mapping, High-Density EEG, ERP analysis, Cognitive Psychology, and Signal Processing.
The Research Application Specialist will also be trained on all aspects of demonstrating and selling EGI products. In this role they will be expected to travel to customer sites, assist and eventually conduct product demonstrations and travel to conferences as appropriate. This role will cover the East Coast. Ideal candidate will work out of our Oregon Office and travel 30% of the time to the East Coast.
The Regional Application Specialist will assist the Sales Account Managers in their territory by:
Providing support for lead follow up, lead tracking.
Pro-active outreach to new and existing customers including planning and attending customer visits as appropriate.
Support for Marketing initiated sales campaigns including lead follow up and proactive outreach to targeted sales prospects.
Coordination of conference activity in the region as well as organizing demos and customer visits in proximity to conferences.
Developing and producing quotes as well as quote follow up.
Other duties as assigned by EGI management.
Optimize travel schedule in Eastern US (travel 30%) for maximum customer visits per trip.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology any area of neuroscience or equivalent combination of education/experience as deemed appropriate by the hiring manager.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience with proven track record of success and relevant research or clinical experience (EEG/ERP Labs)
Ability to understand, convey, and teach others the aspects and technical use of the specific assigned products.
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and MAC OS Applications.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have appropriate presentation skills.
Must work within all company guidelines, processes and policies and adhere to solid business fundamental practices.
