The Aronlab at UCSD (www.aronlab.org) is focused on fronto-basal-ganglia circuits for response control in humans.
A funded postdoctoral position exists (from November 2017) for candidates wanting to work in any of the following areas:
Cognitive Psychology of response control and working memory
Electrophysiology (EEG/LFP), especially using time-frequency methods, with interest in cognition
functional MRI, especially using MVPA/classifiers, with interest in cognition
Candidates should hold a PhD or be about to be awarded one.
The lab has excellent local and collaborative research resources, including fMRI, TMS and EEG/ECoG. There is also a patient-related component in Parkinson's disease. There is a broad psychology and neuroscience community at UCSD, moreover in a stunning location.
