We are looking for intelligent, pleasant, highly motivated postdoctoral fellows who have a training background in electrophysiology and interests in epilepsy and autism.
We are using a variety of tools to understand how neurodevelopmental perturbation leads to epilepsy and autistic spectrum disorders. We take advantage of genome editing tools and iPSCs/hESCs to model human diseases in vivo and in vitro. We are planning to use silicon probes and/or miniscope in epileptic and autistic rodents to interrogate the cortical states and dynamics with aims to understand neuronal microcircuit dynamics, macrocircuit connectivity and behavior to connect between the level of molecular, cellular, networks and animal behavior.

Experience with silicon probe recording and/or miniscope is desired. Experience with brain slice physiology will also be a good fit.
Additional Salary Information: NIH standard wages. Based on prior postdoctoral experience.
