The Liu Lab (Department of Neurology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry), Brown University, Providence, RI, USA is seeking an enthusiastic and adventurous candidate to pursue postdoctoral training in the neurobiology of epilepsy. This position will allow the fellow to learn electrophysiological and molecular genetics, including patch clamp electrophysiology, small animal EEG, and human genetics.
The specific project will be adjusted to match the interests and talents of the fellow, but will focus on translational neuroscience utilizing the platforms we have developed in mouse and human studies which were recently published in Neuron (https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1Vs-c3BtfGldxD). The Liu lab is dedicated to providing top notch scientific training, a collegial supportive laboratory environment, as well as intensive career mentoring. We are affiliated with Brown University andwith the Brain Science Program. Our lab and Brown provide an exciting training opportunity in a diverse and engaged neuroscience community.
