The candidate will join the laboratory of Michael Beauchamp Ph.D. in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. The Beauchamp lab studies behavior, perception, computational models, and neural mechanisms of one of the most important human abilities, the ability to understand speech. This research is part of a growing collaborative group of investigators including Brett Foster Ph.D. and Daniel Yoshor M.D. focused on human intracranial neurophysiology of vision, multi-sensory integration, memory and language. The candidate will focus on ECOG (electrocorticography) and will collect and analyze ECOG data and prepare the results for publication. The candidate will be expected to compete for NIH training awards. For more information about the Beauchamp Lab, please visit http://www.openwetware.org/wiki/Beauchamp
