HJF is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow (Laboratory) for the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, Department of Psychiatry located at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD (www.cstsonline.org). Fellow will initiate and conduct experiments to test candidate therapeutic agents for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) using behavioral screening assays in a non-mammalian model.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or a related field. Prior experience in high-throughput screening and/or behavioral studies in animal models preferred. Assists in designing, developing, executing, and implementing scientific experiments related to drug development in a zebrafish model. Participates in planning and conducting data analyses from zebrafish experiments. Assists with the preparation of data for presentation at scientific meetings, publication in scientific journals, and grant applications.
