A postdoctoral position available immediately in the Laboratory of Sensorimotor Perception at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Our research focuses on cellular and circuit mechanisms of chronic pain and drug addiction. We seek an individual with documented experience with patch clamp recordings from slices of adult animals.

The School of Medicine has nearly 3,000 faculty members (full-time, part-time and adjunct); 3,000 administrative, research and clinical staff; and maintains a current enrollment of over 1,200 medical, graduate and allied health students. The School of Medicine and its clinical partner, the University of Maryland Medical Center, educate and train many of the state of Maryland’s medical professionals. Continuing education programs serve more than 5,000 physicians and other health professionals annually.
