Our laboratory studies cortical mechanisms of sensory detection and impulse control (zagha.ucr.edu). Experiments involve recording and perturbing neural activity in mice performing well-controlled behavioral tasks. This position is externally funded through the Whitehall Foundation, with guaranteed funding for at least three years. Since we are a small lab, the postdoc will receive extensive training and collaboration with the PI. Applicants must have previous training in neuroscience, ideally with experience in electrophysiology, imaging and/or rodent behavior. Please send your CV and a cover letter describing your research experience and interests to: email@example.com.
